There have been false dawns before but this does look very promising:

Could we be seeing at last the possibility of progress with Kolar and BGML?

The market hasn't woken up to this development yet although there was a smidgeon of interest into the late afternoon. Tomorrow will be interesting now it is getting out into the public domain.

Please correct me if I am wrong, but the last RNS was pretty miserable. A lost of £1.5 million, admission that progress in India is virtually impossible, no hope of raising funds unless they sell something resignation of CEO and Non exec and possibility of delisting from AIM and even winding up.
Like most on this board I live in hope .. but what hope is there?

Yes indeed Tenpercent and you're likely to make a lot more than that if you invest at this price. Currently a tiny valuation given assets. An easy bagger in prospect and the gold price surge will help in due course.

Very encouraging project update on Geomysore website but not sure when it is dated:

Aiming for up to 1m ozs resource from just one small section of the licence area!

At last it seems things are beginning to move again on BGML and developments afoot.

hxxp://www.business-standard.com/article/economy-policy/mines-minister-calls-for-fresh-exploration-at-kolar-gold-fields-115012801333_1.html

Thanks to Korg on LSE for uncovering this article. Probably the information became available to affect market today but I would be expecting this to attract renewed attention tomorrow.

I would suggest a VERY good time to get in here with the share price at all time lows and potentially transformational news to come.

GMSI development announced:

Looks like things are going to get moving again at Jonnagiri which the market got quite excited about late last year. Kolar continue to secure their investment in GMSI and, don't forget, Deccan deal is still very much on since they are waiting for GMSI to prove up their resource at Jonnagiri.

Yes that's one of the possible projects.

This is the other. Follow this lead through for a bit more research. www.thehindubusinessline.com/news/states/float-global-tender-to-reestablish-bgml-kh-muniyappa/article6378652.ece

The fact is the indian government need to address their trade deficit, and Indians love their gold, currently imported/smuggled, so domestic production is the way forward.

Whatever something about to happen here VERY shortly!

Had my eyes on this one for months, indian government about to grant permission for a massive gold project from what I read. India needs domestic gold production to start asap.

Someone just snapped up 1.6% of the company in one trade. All dummy buys suddenly at full ask.

I see they released news yesterday, all reads a bit fluffy tbh, seems its not easy getting things going in India.

Simple, Damille are frittering away their clients' money. They don't care as they will collect their management fees anyway.

DIL2 loading up with some more KGLD now holding 21.04% what can they see that I cant?

I also track the rest of Damille's holding on the WAM thread:-)
