On 24 August 2015, GEONG announced that it was in preliminary discussions with Hanafin Limited (the correct full corporate name of which was Hanafin Investments Limited) ("Hanafin") regarding a possible offer for GEONG by Hanafin.

Hanafin announces that, following the announcement by GEONG on 14 September 2015 regarding the directors' belief that an unquantified but significant provision against the carrying value of the accrued income and trade debtors will be required, those discussions have not been concluded such that Hanafin is able to make an offer for GEONG at this time or to elect for the GBP1,000,000 convertible unsecured loan stock ("CULS"), which it is holding, to be converted. As a result of this announcement, Hanafin is bound by the restrictions provided by Rule 2.8 of the Code for a period of 6 months following the date of this announcement. Hanafin reserves the right to set aside this statement within 6 months of the date of this announcement in the circumstances set out in Note 2 to Rule 2.8 of the Code.

koolade - stop asking questions about understanding the company more. This is angels on pin heads territory. The moon is almost certainly made of stilton, at a stretch cheddar. It can't be made of Brie because that is all floppy. Questions about penalty letters and appealing violations amount to the same thing.

Anybody know how much cash the Chinese frauds listed on AIM have cost Investors ? Must be running into billions now ?

From UK investors directly into pockets of Chinese conmen.

And now George Osborne has signed a Nuclear deal with the Chinese !

So we fund them to control our nuclear destiny . Cripes.

reading the RNS it appears that some sellers on that site are opperating nothing more than a pyramid selling scam in its listings for b2b commerce.
Who on earth is going to use this site after this, (not that anyone did before) when you can use ultra transparent Alibaba .com ?

is not subject to the suspension because the Chinese Authorities do not have jurisdiction over it.

Note that they list an ICP number..




All sites expecting to operate within and do business in China are subject to such registration and the applicable legislation.

Relevant Part,

The violations of advertising regulation arise from client websites that the Company hosts on its website, www.jqw.com. As a result of the penalties imposed, the website has been suspended for a one month period.

Unfortunately whilst,



Shows a "Web Pages Are Being Maintained" message they are using java script to prevent access and anyone visiting the site who blocks java script gets to view the original, and presumably offending, Web Site.

In effect JQW have not properly suspended the site.

I have no idea how the Chinese Authorities might respond to such a faux pas. I guess we just wait and see.

I'm out today at a huge loss, this is just far too fishy. Nobody closes their website for a month.
