Board changes
John Lewis of Hungerford plc announces that its finance director, Karen Stanley, has today tendered her resignation from the Board in order to pursue other, non-competing, opportunities. She will remain actively engaged in the business whilst a successor is recruited and will work with the Board to ensure a smooth handover of all responsibilities. The Board intend to start the process of identifying a successor without delay.
Ken McNaught, Chairman, commented:
"I would like to thank Karen on behalf of the whole Board for the valuable contribution she has made to the business since joining in 2009. We wish her well in her future endeavours."
