Encouraging chart pattern, bouncing off the low to close marginally higher. The bull has won control, but only just whereas the bear seems to have given up.

You cannot drive a good company down any further than this. It makes decent profit and pays a good dividend. My target price is at least 40 p within one year.

Derrick Woolf, a non-executive director of Jiasen, a Quanzhou furniture firm that listed on London's Alternative Investment Market in June last year, said he believes more Chinese companies will seek listings overseas, because international stock exchanges' stringent corporate governance regulations would boost their brand value.
And that will help the Chinese firms do business in their domestic markets, as well as help them strike partnership deals with overseas companies, Woolf said.
Jiasen, which raised 2 million pounds through its AIM IPO, has since entered discussions with Western companies over possible partnerships in China, Woof added.
The overseas listing allowed Jiasen to purchase a piece of land in China from the local government at discounted price, and use it to set up a new factory. This is because Jiasen's London listing has helped give credibility to the firm.
Another benefit of listing in a market like AIM is stability of valuation, because such a market is generally driven by institutional investors who hold their investment for the long term.
This is very different from China's domestic stock markets, which are dominated by retail investors who make decisions less rationally and tend to make more trades on a short-term basis, with their decisions greatly influenced by market sentiment as opposed to company fundamentals.
"From the perspective of a quality company, as they steadily grow and they meet investor expectations, their share price should rise steadily as more investors buy into their stocks over the long term," Woolf said.

I have looked at the share chart again. Technical indicators are positive. The share is climbing up slowly but steadily, which is a good sign for a small company which does not attract much attention.

I feel that when an encouraging announcement is made the share price will shoot up because market makers do not keep sufficient stocks to meet demand. I am waiting for that to happen, hopefully in the near future.

I would disagree with that. Any takeover would have to be at a significant premium and often is for small companies. The management would not part with their holding at anywhere near current levels in my opinion.

that looks an old article...

but with any takeovers... it's usually based on an average of the last 30days sp

which makes it quite clear why an share price usually falls off a cliff over a period of months before an announcement of a takeover is released

Free money here apparently! This refers to ACE. I like JSI equally. Both these companies are ridiculously beaten down.http://www.smallcapnetwork.com/Auhua-Clean-Energy-ACE-Rose-20-on-50M-Dollar-Takeover-Rumours/s/via/49745/article/view/p/mid/1/id/1/#.VdwYn0FVSAc.twitterA takeover is inevitable with a share price this low in my opinion. The rumour would imply an immediate 10 bagger. Considering the low pe of 1(!), that seems about right.

Cash in the bank at the end of March was 315 million RMB which equates to about £33m or 26p a share!!!
At the end of December 2014 they had liabilities of 131m RMB. So even if all the cash was used to pay the liabilities they would still have over 16p a share in cash plus another 400m RMB of assets on the balance sheet. Total sum of parts is way over 40p.

A maintained annual dividend of 3.85 p on the current share price of 7.5 p will yield 51%. Even if a reduced dividend of 2 p a year will yield 26.7%.

Where can you find a share that provides this sort of investment return?

Something has to change. The share price should rise substantially from here assuming the company is trading reasonably well and continues to be profitable.

interest rate cut in China the other day...

will only increase turnover and profit..

taken from results RNS April 16th April

"The easing of property cooling measures along with more affordable mortgages are encouraging developments and as such we are well positioned to capitalise on the increased demand for semi furnished apartments."

"The desire for semi-furnished new apartments, known as Refined Housing Decoration (RHD) continues to increase which is expected to drive demand for the Group's multiple product offering."

"The recent fall in our share price is disappointing and the Board believes it does not reflect the underlying value of the business. Our financial performance is positive and our strategy is clearly delivering solid growth. We therefore look to the future with confidence."
