20/11/2020 10:00 | !FOLLOWFEED The Starcapital website metrics put Russia as one of the cheapest markets in the world to invest in. That's based on things like CAPE. P/E. Price to cashflow. Price to book. Price to sales. Avg Divi yield. CAPE || PE ||| PC || PB || PS || DY 5.9 || 11.2 ||4.2 || 0.8 || 0.7 || 7.7% The Russia market moves upward with natural resources, especially oil and I consider oil cheap at $40-45 barrel. I also like that Russia is not so correlated with Western markets. Several years of sanctions mean it is pretty self sufficient. The economist published a table showing emerging economies financial strength. That included: Public debt % of GDP. Foreign Debt % of GDP. Cost of borrowing. Reserve cover. On all 4 Russia scored highly. Ranked 5th in the table behind Botswana, Taiwan, South Korea and Peru. | gb904150 | |
