|garth: OK. I've been pretty negative on these based on not inconsequential market cap, piddly revenue and heavy cash burn. But this second contract has now got my attention. Could this be one of those 'inflexion points'? And could we see a story unfold not unlike that at IMG - with similar share price movement?
If 25p was justified by the market following the last contract then surely 30p is not unreasonable with this one?
|woodrowman: At long last, some positive newsflow (although no details):

Share price movement
The Company notes its recent share price movement and announces that it is in
advanced negotiations with a potential new major customer.
A further announcement will be made as appropriate.
Good to see positive price movement. Let's hope the customer is a major player and the contract is huge.|
|philcom: nice to see all this positive news is having the same effect on the share price !|
|philcom: Any Idea when all this will have a positive affect on the share price ???|
|katylied: Personally, I couldn't give a flying fig for
how credible all this ramping is, along as
the share-price continues to rise...|
|indigo85: Thanks, KL... Wonder why the small drop in share price yesterday...|
|bombers: The share price stirs!!!|
|madalex: A7009090 could you forward that Barclays email to me please ?
As for RCG, well after stumbling this thread I became interested in RFID technology and the potential number of applications it could be used in.
However INN from what I remember, even though they had great technology, were... making a loss (?), the sales were not good, and the share price chart did not look good.
Then I stumbled across the RCG thread, whom not only deal in RFID but also in Biometrics, which after 9/11 and 7/7 is a high profile area. The fundamentals seemed ideal for investment... growing sales, growing profit, 11million in cash.
RCG announced their year end profits last week, a summary is :-
- Sales 15.45m (2004: 3.38m) up 358%
- PBT 4.8m (2004: 2.3m) up 114%
- Normalised PBT* 4.9m (2004: 1.3m) up 277%
- EPS 4.4p (2004: 2.3p) up 91%
- Normalised EPS* 4.5p (2004: 1.3p) up 246%
- DPS 0.5p (2004: 0.4p) up 25%
And today announced another RFID contract win.
Go over to the thread and make your own mind up, but even after the recent rise, its still very undervalued.
INN may win some contracts but companies like RCG are ahead of the game and are primarily selling in countries which are embracing the technology.|
|britishbear: GHF - don't mind at all. They should really read the whole RNS though to get more background on how the US government works and why it is the largest buyer of RFID tags.
The whole RFID market should benefit and RFID goes maninstream. If BLS can become a "winner" its share price will rocket - others such as RCG, INN and CAR may also benefit in the medium term.
It is a massive market to share out.|
|ole2: There have been a lot of buys on Friday; I thought the share price would have at least moved up a couple of pence. I am going to hold for now as this share seems to be the lowest it has been. I am still fairly confident I will get my rewards in the end even if it means holding for 12 months. I have been told that by March there should be a large increase in the share price ONLY TIME WILL TELL|
