Mr Cheese,

I think that you should buy more of these shares - bring down your average and all that.
This really is a great, well lead Company and should provide a great return for investors this year.

Any profile of the business owners anyone ?

TBf - it is a scam - you'll be fleeced.

No new investors being attracted I see - only those desperately trying to justify through being locked in.

There is no business model, just a couple of guy's looking for a home for their cash, and all the finanacial advantages that owning this kind of business can bring to them.

If your really into this kind of thing then why would you not look at CFE which does have a good business model.

No new investors say's it all to me.
Not one buy in two days !

Well it's on my watchlist....no doubt has potential.

Can't help feeling though UK is crying out for a fast Indian food outlet like McDonalds/Subway format, that really would make potential investors minds up, although I understand the pizza comparison.

After all they say themselves younger people are into curries etc, well imagine the students etc; that would love the opportunity to buy a cheap curry!

Great post TBF, couldn't agree more. Once the story starts getting around suspect this could attract a lot more than just your usual investors too. They are the only listed Indian Restuarant Co, and as such could attract a lot of indian family investors wanting a piece of the pie. I like this deal, and if they can start rolling it out across affluent middle England i think we could all be rewarded. Definitely holding on to mine

Big Fella What was the Central China Investors Proactive Forum......... forgive me for asking. Sounds interesting.

Stuart

Let's hope so. Regarding your earlier question were you at the Central China Proactive investors forum in Nov? I met quite a few including Chucky there but my memory being what it is can't remember everyone!

Delighted the P&D lot can't get in. As said earlier any hot money who was in on the rise last summer has long since gone. Hardly any volume over the last 2 days really triggering the rise so I think we should have an orderly and hopefully finaicially beneficial return!! Only a "few days" and we will find out.

not much chance of a deal i don't think stuart
they will probably rattle on about dd or perhaps they found something during dd but lloks like what ever was on the cards is now off
i am guessing that vincent has jumped ship along with at least one director
it will leave this open for the new investors
35k was mine

Have you any idea what 'something completely different' is?

There are big warning signs for me here - investors could lose the lot if these people pull the plug.

Be careful.

Johnma -

"The company has indicated it is advanced stages of completing two acquisitions which are potentially outside of India because of high valuations."

I'm sure you wouldn't dispute that the company has been indicating excellent progress in such respects since 2005. Why are their indications to be considered reliable this time, when there's so much previous evidence of them not achieving their intents? They said back on 27th June that they hoped to be able to announce further details in "the coming weeks". The clock is ticking. Of course, they may make acquisitions this time, but I don't understand why that should be viewed with confidence.

As for such acquisitions being outside India, does this not suggest that they've wasted rather a lot of time and money so far and that their original business model was flawed? As I've suggested, the company name would thne seem to be a bit of an embarrassment.

"The company has 28p cash per share at its disposal. Which would indicate no premium to the deal."

You appear to have missed my points above. Firstly, the 28p was stated as at the end of March - it is now October - and secondly they wrote off an eye-watering £670,433 in their 2006 accounts as "aborted acquisition costs" (having written off £221,017 in the same way the year before). If they have been spending money at any such level towards the currently proposed acquisitions then the 28p/share will no longer be at the company's 'disposal'. As I've said, you can't have it both ways - if they've been spending on progressing acquisitions then they will no longer have the money they had at 31st March, quite apart from general administrative costs.

"Strong investor base with Vincent T - being one of the major backer."

Hmm. You've had two funds selling out recently. I would call that a weakening investor base.

"Strong management team."

What criteria do you apply in making that judgement? Well, you've met them, so I guess it's your personal impression. I would feel that their failure to achieve anything since listing indicates that they have not been effective as a management team. I would also question AP's emoluments having increased from £33,333 to £52,500 in 2006 - a 57.5% increase! - on the back of th4e company having achieved nothing at all. You're entitled to form your own personal impression, of course, but I think it's reasonable to ask you what you mean by 'strong management'.

"Chart in a nice up trend."

Yup - that's what happens when PIs start getting attracted to a share. I bet ARF have been pleased to see that uptrend too!

"Patience should provide a nice return."

Why? That's the whole point - how can you have a view on that when you don't know what these proposed acquisitions might be, nor the terms upon which they might be acquired?

By the way, you're welcome to follow RA1's lead and pretend to filter me again (yawn! - If only he/you would!), but I suspect that holders or prospective investors would take greater confidence from some intelligent response to the points I have made (i.e., not just repeating your '28p/share', 'strong management' mantras).
