Independent Resources plc (the "Company") has today been notified that following the proposed placing of Ordinary Shares in the Company at a price of 0.08p per share and conditionally upon Admission of the Placing Shares to trading on AIM, Sanderson Capital Partners Limited ("Sanderson") will increase its shareholding in the Company from 69,476,190 shares to 286,863,690 shares. Sanderson will have accordingly increased its direct percentage ownership from 5.20% prior to today's announced financing to 12.51% of the enlarged issued share capital of the Company following the admission of the 958,245,000 Placing Shares.

Capitalised terms used in this announcement, but not defined, have the same meaning as in the announcement made on 6 December 2016 entitled "Placing and Conversion of Debt".
