This is what's know as being caught with one's pants up! I think we can guess who is behind the bid! I am willing to consider an offer around the £2.70 mark.

If you are interested in quizzing management, the company is exhibiting at this show in April: www.masterinvestor.co.uk. They have a few free tickets available for shareholders and other interested parties if you email the organisers at mi2010tickets@t1ps.com quoting 'IFG Group shareholder'.

Well fair play to the board for taking on board my criticsm in post 144.It was a rushed job at the height of the holiday season.Giving shareholders a little leaway is magnanimous.

Only 55% of shares taken up by existing shareholders.Fiordland (actually just one investor) now owns almost 20% (well 17%) of the co.

Can't help feeling they are quite happy to let Fiordland pick up as many shares as possible at 1.05 euro.I received my offer on Christmas Eve and the cheque (which I posted today) has to be in by the 31st.Many shareholders may be away/on holidays, etc. And how come the directors are not taking up their rights,in effect giving Fiordland an 'in' at a substantial discount? What do we owe this investor?

More light being shed on 'Fiordland' in the Sunday newspapers.Should give the share price a boost.

Up another 10% today on low volume. As I've often pointed out,the share price is about the least informative piece of information regarding a stock.Hopefully it will continue to sail under the radar of the market until it doubles again!

The mortage market in Ireland is not going to recover anytime soon. The trustee business should prove much more resilient.

Up 100% in two months and much further to go.The IMS is cautious but 'strong internal cash generation' and a 'resilient'performance so far in '09 bodes well.

Well, 2.37p and the interim of 1.27p gives 3.64p.yield of 10%.

Well as you lot have obviously abandoned IFG,(I almost fell over when I noticed a youthful LBO was actually bullish on a company back in the day!Nothing like a bit of time and experience to stifle those perdilictions),I will slowly buy up...all your shares!
