* Dividend of 2.40p (net) per ordinary share.

TheBoard of Ivory & Sime Optimum Income Trust plc today announced that the
Company will pay a final interim dividend of 2.40 pence (net) per ordinary share
on 26 March 2004 to shareholders on the register on 19 March 2004.

This is in line with the final interim dividend estimated in the Circular dated
1 March 2004.
