The growth in the travel business is shown by the ATOL cover they now have .
1st 6 months 5,000 seats.
2nd six months 10,000 seats.
3rd six months 20,000 seats.( we are in this at the moment)
They have asked for a further variation, which would move them up from 30,000 seats this year to 50,000 next. Turnover would rise to about £10m from the present £2m, and the company would make a profit in the £500,000 region. Not bad for a £2m cap company.

Ah, now we know who has them.
Caledonian is part of Colin Maclean's outfit, so at a guess it all is. Lets hope he will be trying to do another SVM ( £6million to £100m in 6 years)

PCI - Petroceltic - the stock to watch.

PCI is going to be the stock of the year. Best you get on board before they announce their oil drilling results in Tunisia. Currently 15p and they believe there is 400 million barrels of light crude down there.

PCI - Petroceltic - watch this space

Who are these people? Do they think they can enter a cut-throat business and with an ATOL to sell 10,000 seats p.a. they are going to turn around 3 years losses?

comments?

Anyone notice MMs taking in 20,000 yesterday and selling on 15,000? They must have been short 5,000.

Announced today Aberdeen have taken a 20% stake in the company. This adds about £500,000 to net assets.

very solid results with earnings beginning to come through. MUCH more to go for IMHO. The shares have held up well during the slide, and are about 30% up for the year - much better than any of the techs. NAV is still above the share price, and there should be further deals in the pipeline on the travel front ( great earnings, few assets employed)

As from monday, Teather and Greenwood will be making a market in HRL. This doubles the number of MMs at work and is a very positive signal in terms of developments at the company. T&G are the company's NOMAD, and would be very unlikely to be doing this for a small company unless they expected the number of shares traded to increase sunstantially. In the last year only some 165,000 shares changed hands out of 1,552,000, so T&G must expect that this will rise dramatically. Just a thought.
