Heywood Williams Group PLC - Application to appoint administrators
Following the announcement earlier today regarding the shareholders' decision to
reject the Proposed Restructuring and other Proposals as set out in the circular
sent to shareholders on 1 October 2009, the Board confirms that, having
completed a detailed review of the options available to it, it has now
concluded, with regret, that it is necessary for the Company to apply to Court
for an administration to safeguard the operations of the Company.
Consequently, the Board has today made an application to Court to request it to
appoint administrators over the Company. In addition, the Company has requested
a suspension of listing of its ordinary shares from the Official List by the
Financial Services Authority.
