NOTIFICATION OF INTERESTS OF DIRECTORS AND CONNECTED PERSONS
Cambridge, UK, 16 December 2015: GW Pharmaceuticals (AIM: GWP, NASDAQ:GWPH) hereby provides notification that the Company was notified on 15 December of the following series of transactions in the shares of GW Pharmaceuticals PLC by Dr. Geoffrey Guy, a Director and Chairman of the Company.
On 10 December 2015, Dr. Guy transferred, by way of gift, 320,000 ordinary 0.1 pence shares in the Company to a medical charity and to family members. On 14 December 2015, Dr. Guy transferred, by way of gift, a further 300,000 ordinary 0.1 pence shares in the Company to family members.
Following these transactions, Dr. Guy now has a notifiable interest in respect of 14,123,648 ordinary 0.1 pence shares of the Company, including 300,000 ordinary 0.1p shares of the Company held by his younger child, representing 5.4% of the Company's current issued share capital.
The total number of shares outstanding in the Company is 261,180,173 ordinary shares of 0.1 pence each.
