NOTIFICATION OF INTERESTS OF DIRECTORS AND CONNECTED PERSONS
Porton Down, UK, 13 December 2010: GW Pharmaceuticals (AIM: GWP)hereby provides notification that the Company has today been notified of the following share transactions entered into by Dr Geoffrey Guy, a Director and Executive Chairman of the Company.
Dr Guy today exercised options over 150,000 ordinary shares of 0.1 pence each. These options were 10 year options which would have expired if not exercised before 15 January 2011. Dr Guy subsequently sold 200,000 ordinary shares at a price of 105.2 pence per share. All options held by Dr Guy that were due to expire in January 2011 have now been exercised.
Following these transactions, Dr Guy holds a beneficial interest in 18 256,783 GW Pharmaceuticals 0.1 pence ordinary shares, representing 13.89% of the Company's current issued share capital.
The total number of shares outstanding in the Company is 131,393,292 ordinary shares of 0.1 pence each.
