("Gourmet" or the "Company")

Change of Accounting Reference Date

Gourmet, the London restaurant/cafe operator, announces it is changing its
accounting reference date to the last Sunday of December with immediate effect.

The next two accounting reference dates and next interim period will be as noted
below:

*         27 weeks ending 30 December 2007 - the preliminary results for the
period will be notified within 3 months and the Report and Accounts will be
published and posted to shareholders within 6 months

*         Interim period for 28 weeks ended 13 July 2008 - the interim results
will be notified within 3 months

*         52 week period to 28 December 2008 - the preliminary results will be
notified and the Report and Accounts will be published and posted to
shareholders within 6 months
