Team Vitality is a high calibre multi-game esports organisation based in France that currently has teams competing across a series of games including: first-person shooters, Call of Duty, Halo and Rainbow Six Siege; football simulation game, FIFA 18; and multiplayer online battle arena video game, League of Legends ('LoL').

Prior to Vitality's opening FIFA 18 match, amateur players from around the world are invited to sign up for free to compete in the Challenger Series to earn a place in the Elite Draft. After six weeks of online competition, the top 40 players will enter the Elite Draft in the hope of being selected by one of the 10 teams with each drafting two players to become part of their active roster. The teams will compete in a six-week regular season in a bid to make the Elite Series play-offs which will be played over a two-week period from the Gfinity Esports Arena in London, with season three play-offs starting in March 2018.

Neville Upton, Chief Executive of Gfinity, said: "Having the current reigning EA SPORTS(TM) FIFA Ultimate Team World Champions competing at next season's Elite Series in March is quite a coup for Gfinity.

"As the Elite Series fanbase grows significantly from series to series, we are challenging ourselves to showcase the best global esports talent and we are delighted to welcome Team Vitality.

"Given their standing in European and Global esports, the highly decorated team will push the quality of the forthcoming Elite Series competition, one of the world's premier esports leagues, to an even higher level."
