21/12/2009 14:25 | The warrants are exercisable in January2010 . I bet someone will do that, which is rather foolish. I have seen that happen it on numurous occasions in the past. Maybe the sub punt for exercising in January 2011 is a fair punt. A capital fulrum of 29.8344 Gearing 7.277 Premium 28.2% on a sub price of 9p Share price of 65.5p Exercise price of 75p ------------- | washbrook
20/10/2009 11:42 | 16% now massive spread | andrbea

14/10/2009 15:42 | Yup - more than happy with POGw up considerably in last 8 days for me from 70p, and still looking very positive. will check out voc NCEA could be (another New City fund) interesting over long run, stashed a few away, expires in 2013, conv price 70p so lots of time, currently about 3.5 to 4.5p, again NAV (est around 58 to 62p Diluted)running ahead of share price (about 44p), so aruound 30%+ to NAV, so if all stays positive and discount can be closed... ta dyor etc... | energiser01
14/10/2009 15:17 | moving well now (34%) others to watch (pogw and voc) nia dyor | andrbea
14/10/2009 15:02 | on equity warrants thread it says GCL Geiger Counter GCLW 03/2010 75 ?? ?? | andrbea
14/10/2009 14:27 | Something not adding up here. NCIM's docs don't make any mention of 2 ord for 1 subscription, but then they also may have other incorrect info. In one it says ( In addition, there are 12,085,959 Subscription Shares in issue; these shares carry the right to subscribe for Ordinary Shares at 75p each in the years 2009 and 2010. and another it says ( Each subscription share confers the right upon the shareholder to subscribe for one ordinary share at 75p in each of the years January 2010 or 2011. So its probably Oe sub for One ord - makes more sense but which year does it expire in - any thoughts ? dyor etc. | energiser01
14/10/2009 14:23 | good point energiser01 best ask the warrant expert (kenmitch) over on the warrants thread ('wt') | andrbea
14/10/2009 14:17 | These subs are quoted as on LSE :- GCLS GEIGER COUNTER LD SUB SHS (1 SUB SHR FOR 2 ORDS) Can't get my brain around this at the moment, does that effect the gearing as each sub is exposed to two shares. Above 75p will the sub track share as per normal, to my mind its double geared. shares reach £1 each so sub share would normally be 25p (+/- time value/aspects etc. - keeping it simple), but as the sub share effectively exposes the holder to 50p instead of 25p, can we assume the sub share will be valued accordingly ? | energiser01
14/10/2009 13:53 | Kiwara (+3.5%) and Kalahari (+5%) up so far today. Warrants (GCLS) starting to look increasingly interesting as suspect NAV of trust approaching/passed 75p (was 69p at Sept 30th). Shares got some catching up to do but discount to NAV being closed weekly at present. DYOR etc... | energiser01
14/10/2009 13:45 | about gcl (the parent share) energiser01 - 13 Oct'09 - 16:27 - 146 of 147 Things moving nicely here. They also have 14% of the fund invested in Kalhari dasv - 13 Oct'09 - 16:50 - 147 of 147 yep its a nice basket of U companies - chart looking good for upside.. | andrbea
14/10/2009 13:43 | kenmitch - 18 Sep'09 - 20:07 - 2415 of 2430 Agree totally re the warrants/sub shares in the last two posts. Several warrants are incredibly cheap - as long as markets can continue their run. /... URANIUM FANS can go for Geiger Counter shares OR their sub shares. GCLS. Now 7p. If the shares can rise from 60p to £1 by expiry in January 2011 the warrant will nearly quadruple. And what if there is another uranium bubble? The Managers seem very confident and some of their top holdings are soaring. | andrbea
18/2/2007 17:12 | Yes, I wish I had known and bought them when you posted. Hope your hold loads at that price! | lineal
