                               Buyback of Shares

Further to the announcement earlier today, the Company has today made a market
purchase of 30,175,256 Ordinary Shares in the Company at a price of 10.39 pence
per Ordinary Share.  This follows the earlier acquisition of such Ordinary
Shares at the Tender Price by Collins Stewart pursuant to the Second Tender
Offer.  These Ordinary Shares will be cancelled by the Company.
