        GAM International Management Ltd is a discretionary 
        investment manager acting in its capacity as investment 
        adviser for GAM Global Diversified Investments and GAM 
        UK Diversified Investments. 
 
        The number of shares held on behalf of GAM Global Diversified 
        Investments and GAM UK Diversified Investments in Fastjet 
        PLC has increased from 7,514,200 (7.767%) shares to 
        28,683,007 (8.541%) shares. In addition 4,600,000 warrants 
        (1.351%) are held on behalf of both funds which, if 
        exercised, would entitle the funds to buy 4,600,000 
        shares (1.351%) with 4,600,000 voting rights 
 
        The aggregate potential exposure is therefore 33,283,007 
        (9.776%) shares. 
 
        This aggregate potential exposure has decreased from 
        11.953% of the voting rights to 9.776% following the 
        placing of 239,082,993 new ordinary shares by Fastjet 
        PLC.
