17/11/2001 10:37 | Just spotted the chart on this one - long-term it's horrible, but recently, it's started to turn up quite sharply. Had a golden cross of 10/20/50 EMAs at the start of September, and it's been going up ever since. Indicators show it as well overbought, but it keeps on going... Resistance just above this level at 38ish p, and again at 54ish, then nothing until it's in the 80s. | zzaxx99 | |
27/2/2001 09:31 | Good Morning, All. Preliminary results due 9th March 2001. Let's hope this is the turning point. Exchange FS Group PLC 27 February 2001 Exchange FS Group plc EXCHANGE FS WINS MULTI MILLION POUND CONTRACT TO DEVELOP INTEGRATED CALL CENTRE AND INTERNET PORTAL FOR ROYAL LONDON Exchange FS Group plc ('Exchange FS'), the new business created from the combination of Crisp Computing Ltd ('Crisp Computing') and The Exchange, today announces that it has signed a contract, expected to be worth approximately £4 million, to develop a fully integrated call centre and Internet portal over the next 14 months for The Royal London Mutual Assurance Society Ltd ('Royal London'). In addition contracts worth a total of £1.8 million have been signed to provide support and other services for the next three years. Exchange FS will use its call-centre and web portal technology to develop a new multi-channel sales and administration system for Royal London enabling it to sell Stakeholder Pensions, Investment Products and Protection Products to its four million customers over the web or by phone. As information from both channels will be fully integrated, consumers can start the application process on the web and complete through the call centre, or vice versa. The new channels will be developed alongside Royal London's existing direct sales force. By building in a high level of client intelligence into the system Royal London will be able to provide tailored web content. Accessing policy information will be easier and more efficient for both Royal London and its customers. This large contract win for Exchange FS follows its creation on 29th December 2000, from Crisp Computing and The Exchange. The scope of the contract emphasises the new capability of Exchange FS by combining the call centre technology of Crisp Computing with the web portal capability of The Exchange into a single, integrated proposition. Exchange FS will supply all the software needed to enable Royal London's call centre team to handle both telephone and web-based client calls, access detailed client data and enter new details into a centrally held record. Exchange FS's web portal software will enable Royal London to build a fully interactive website for use by their existing and potential customers. Royal London's Chief Executive of New Markets, Chris Ide comments: 'Integrating multiple distribution channels is a key challenge for product providers and Exchange FS is ideally placed to help us meet this challenge. We want to ensure that whichever way our customers want to deal with us, we are able to provide the products and services that meet their expectations.' 'Driving efficiency and client service in our business is about having the right information at the right time. Using new technology to automate our business processes helps ensure that our advisers spend more time providing advice and service to our customers.' Exchange FS's Chief Executive Ges Whitmore comments: 'We are delighted to be chosen as Royal London's partners in this project. It draws upon the skills and technology of both Crisp Computing and The Exchange and endorses our decision to bring the two businesses together to create a large specialist solutions provider.'
