10/2/2001 00:13 | no trades = no buys. no buys = no price rise ergo, no interest? | lydiard
09/2/2001 19:44 | hope you sold lol | jimted
09/2/2001 08:23 | this share baffles me no trades but it seems to loose 5% a day any answers | jimted
04/1/2001 00:37 | In the space of one year this has dropped from 160 to less than 20. But look at the bid/ofer spread. 30%!!!! Who in their right mind would buy a stock that instantly looses you 30%? Nobody is going to buy this with that kind of spread. So what are the MM's trying to do? I understood it was a Market Makers job to CREATE a market for a stock, not kill it. | darkspeed
29/12/2000 13:25 | I think many people confused this with European Telecom which issued a profits warning about a month ago. This was rather unfortunate. | jools100

I have a theory that Phil Derry was banking on the deal for ICOM re purchase of Intellect Networks to go through before the year end and therefore inflate profits. He left abruptly last week for an unscheduled meeting in the States and then the announcement was made on Tuesday re: Eurotelecom not going to make a profit by April 2001. the only thing that I fear, is are we being taken for a ride? I certainly hope not, but then there have been many with burnt fingers this year (Monticello etc. - I am not saying that this is another Monti, but I will be interested to see what our money is being spent on). | calvin
20/12/2000 17:24 | this share is strange. It goes down on hardly any volume at all. The announcement, which wasn't really that bad, halved the share price. Again there was no volume at all, maybe 35,000 sells. For a share price to halve you would expect a massive sell off. What happens today? We see a little rebound of the lows (15p bid yesterday) to 25p bid today. EUTC (nasdaq version of the share) has rallied over 35% to almost 60c a share, so what does this lead me to believe........anoth Eric | hookie
19/12/2000 18:33 | Yes it has a future . Now 23p, For lining dustbins with share certificates? Mike | madasafish
15/12/2000 13:05 | For those who don't know... this is not the same Eurotelecom that has just bombed. Even though the name appears to have dragged it down some what. This share has a future. | jools100
14/12/2000 17:29 | Rather unfortunate chart for ol' ETMA :=) | adamh
12/12/2000 09:26 | You're not wrong there! I think this stock has rather an unfortunate name! | jools100
12/12/2000 08:37 | You can now | aashram
05/12/2000 10:22 | Hopefully you wont be able to! Cheers. | jools100
02/12/2000 00:03 | I've been watching this one as well. I've seen them tipped a few times, when they were at 85p and were expected to fly. Since then they've free falled, as you say. I hope we get an answer from someone as to why they are falling. I guess an obvious answer might be that the spread is just too big to interest enough people to trade. 10% loss as soon as you buy is not good. Cheers. | prdavies
01/12/2000 13:06 | ETMA is a young company, loss making, in a sector that is more volatile than most. It is unfortunate that as the sector declines, so will the price in individual stocks within it. I bought some of these months ago, and am v.tempted to average down on these prices. The few news stories on this stock are positive, but don't look for huge short term gains. I think this company are in a niche market, with good growth opportunties, and as they win more long term contracts they will look a better investment. Unfortunately, their name has the dreaded telecoms word in it, and as they are not an established player which is partly the reason for the slide me thinks. The spread now will not attract many short term investors, bbut long terms what is 5p? IMHO they will be a big success story in 3-5 years, and 50p will seem a steal. I might wait a week or two, and see if I can buy at 40-45p | matsar
01/12/2000 11:41 | Why is this stock in free fall? It was tipped recently in the Mail on Sunday at 84. Can anyone help?! | jools100
23/10/2000 23:35 | If you were selling a car in Automart and you had no phone calls, what would you do? Drop the price to attract buyers? Supply & demand - same old story. | gooseman
23/10/2000 13:53 | But it's down by 8.6% now. There must be more to it. | prdavies
23/10/2000 13:47 | The answer is in the question. | chrlsdms
23/10/2000 10:38 | Why is the price of Eurotelecom dropping when there appears to be no trade in it ? It has just dropped by 4.8%. | prdavies
15/10/2000 15:06 | I bought in last Thursday, largely on the strength of a rave review on citywire.co.uk Here's the link: The share price is at an all time low, although buying started late Friday afternoon. I'm expecting a big movement north on Monday to offset some of my recent losses. | mero
14/10/2000 10:13 | an interview on bloomburg tv yesterday with someone from eurotelecom brought these to my attention.I am starting to be a fan. dual listing was mentioned @ profit by march 2001. just acouple of things to check @ I think I might go for a dip. some good info, tad novak.i'm with you. | woodworm |
