European Business Jets plc ('EBJ' or 'the Company')
Expands Aircraft Fleet Though the Acquisition of a Seven-Seater Aircraft

European Business Jets plc (AIM: EBJ), the AIM listed operator of private jets,
is pleased to announce the acquisition of a Citation CJ2, a seven-seater
aircraft on behalf of its fractional owner customers, and launched a new CJ2
programme which broadens the Company's access to previously untapped markets
across Southern Europe. In addition, the Company has sold all fractions in its
first Citation CJ1 five-seater aircraft and has agreed customer contracts and
received deposits sufficient to source a second Citation CJ1. The Company will
now have five aircraft in its fleet, including two under management.

EBJ makes private jet usage affordable to many people by offering part ownership
shares (fractional ownership) in private jets, so spreading the cost of
acquisition and ownership across a number of owners. Included in its aircraft
fleet are two CJ1s, two CJ2s and a new Citation XLS. Importantly, pilots with a
CJ type rating can fly both the CJ1 and CJ2 aircraft in the fleet.

The acquisition of the Citation CJ2, which will soon be arriving at the
Company's base in Cambridge, and launch of the new CJ2 programme marks a major
step forward in the history of EBJ. Following a significant number of requests
for a larger aircraft with more range, the Citation CJ2 was chosen as
importantly, it gives the Company access to Southern Europe from departure
points such as Dublin, Edinburgh and Glasgow.

EBJ Sales & marketing Director, Nick Messer said, "We are receiving a marked
rise in the number of enquiries and users joining the scheme in both the UK and
Europe. In the last few years demand for private aviation has increased rapidly
as executives opt for faster, hassle free travel. We are ideally placed to take
advantage of this growth and I am confident that we will show excellent further
growth over the rest of the year and beyond."
