What a rubbish company - Desmond Bloom must be one of the least successful property entrepenuers of all time when it comes to public vehicles.

Given this is a property company with a NAV closer to the issue price, not surprising it's fallen. The big question is did they over-pay for the pubs in the first place? Had a look at the prospectus. Most of the properties were valued based on the current long leases in place. If valued based on vacant possession the values are significantly lower...e.g. one of them is valued at£800k based on the occupational lease and £450k based on vacant possession......This looks like a real dog!

I'd be rather careful here. Mr Bloom has a very poor record recently - the prospectus is somewhat selective; look at Eurocity Properties and Hemisphere Properties if you don't believe me. Both, total disasters!

Looks like you have all been had on this one. Since you all bought into the wrong one, http://www.advfn.com/cmn/fbb/thread.php3?id=12960612 is the right new issue to get into which only just floated on Friday afternoon. Davos Resources does have a gold mine worth 2 pound per share in 2010. At moment the shares are just 10.5p to buy. I am in for more first thing on Monday. DVRS is the epic code with a tiny 5.5m market cap. Every buy seem to push up the price, but still this is no ramp since the fundamentals speak for itself.

this has been floated at the top of the market. wouldn't touch it, at the moment, with the proverbial even with Des's track record.

i actually concur with kneath. these properties 'gurus' couldnt have thought of any other property apart from pubs ? in my local area alone, one pub has shut down.... and two other pubs are up for sale. also, they have raised £1.5m yet the pubs costs £4.5m. That means the rest (£3.0m) was funded via debt.

"Both companies enjoyed tremendous success under Desmond's directorship with the shares increasing from 6p to 405p and 5p to 95p respectively." Over what timescale?
