|What a rubbish company - Desmond Bloom must be one of the least successful property entrepenuers of all time when it comes to public vehicles.|
|hey buminfo how many of these you got.I hear pershings are getting rid of a load cheap.stake down from 14 percent to 3.6.perhaps you should hoover them all up?
any news on the overseas defaulter yet?2 rns's and both really bad news.lol.looks like you done your buns on this one.|
|nice chart though,reminds me of a lightning strike lol|
|Given this is a property company with a NAV closer to the issue price, not surprising it's fallen. The big question is did they over-pay for the pubs in the first place?
Had a look at the prospectus. Most of the properties were valued based on the current long leases in place. If valued based on vacant possession the values are significantly lower...e.g. one of them is valued at£800k based on the occupational lease and £450k based on vacant possession......This looks like a real dog!|
|Mmmmmm! Come on guys.... bottom end pubs? They'll be donating them to charity by mid 2008.|
|BUMINFO,bad week at the office for you then.these falling off the top of a ladder AND getting your JSP short burned to death aswell.|
|I'd be rather careful here. Mr Bloom has a very poor record recently - the prospectus is somewhat selective; look at Eurocity Properties and Hemisphere Properties if you don't believe me. Both, total disasters!|
|late today a million shares dumped and about the only action here.says it all.was it you buminfo?had a change of heart on your latest ramp?|
|Looks like you have all been had on this one. Since you all bought into the wrong one, http://www.advfn.com/cmn/fbb/thread.php3?id=12960612 is the right new issue to get into which only just floated on Friday afternoon.
Davos Resources does have a gold mine worth 2 pound per share in 2010. At moment the shares are just 10.5p to buy. I am in for more first thing on Monday.
DVRS is the epic code with a tiny 5.5m market cap. Every buy seem to push up the price, but still this is no ramp since the fundamentals speak for itself.|
|as a test see if you can put in a sell order on Monday.you will probably get a message saying "phone broker".|
|somebody has missed the boat|
|yes the instis got the pick all at 1.4 now the pi's have to go 3. complete rip if you ask me.|
|i think institutions were buying today|
|whose shirley ?|
|this has been floated at the top of the market. wouldn't touch it, at the moment, with the proverbial even with Des's track record.|
|wouldnt want to go long surely?especially given buminfo's record?|
|i dont believe you cant short this.|
|a good short then grassy?|
|i actually concur with kneath. these properties 'gurus' couldnt have thought of any other property apart from pubs ?
in my local area alone, one pub has shut down.... and two other pubs are up for sale.
also, they have raised £1.5m yet the pubs costs £4.5m. That means the rest (£3.0m) was funded via debt.|
|Pubs arnt the only thing on the agenda|
|timescale is medium term 5yrs so get in now before u miss this boat hey the only thing ive heard is that his name is not warren buffet ............|
|"Both companies enjoyed tremendous success under Desmond's directorship with the shares increasing from 6p to 405p and 5p to 95p respectively."
Over what timescale?|
