Issue of Shares and Total Voting Rights
Energy XXI announces today that it expects to issue the following numbers of its US $0.005 common stock ("Shares") by an issue of new shares as a result of the vesting of employee restricted stock units (RSUs):
February 2012 RSUs- 3,253 Shares (January 2012 vesting)
The Company has made application for the 3,253 Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM, which is expected to become effective on 21 February 2012.
Following the Share issue, the Company has a total of 76,537,181 Shares in issue, excluding 256,353 treasury shares. The total number of voting rights in the Company is therefore 76,537,181.
