Issue of Shares and Total Voting Rights
Energy XXI announces today that it expects to issue 1,935 of its US $0.005 common stock ("Shares") by an issue of new shares as a result of the vesting of employee restricted stock units (RSUs).
The Company has made application for the 1,935 Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM, which is expected to become effective on or around 23 April 2013.
Following the Share issue, the Company has a total of 79,374,772 Shares in issue, excluding 663 treasury shares. The total number of voting rights in the Company is therefore 79,374,772.
