                Board appointment and senior management changes


Elitel Telecom SpA ("Elitel" or the Company"), the independent Italian
telecommunications group, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Ezio
Ravaccia as Non Executive Director to the Elitel Board. Mr Ravaccia will be
standing down from his position as Elitel's Chief Financial Officer (a non board
position) to take up an executive appointment outside the group. Ezio Ravaccia,
age 39, has been Chief Financial Officer of Elitel since August 2005, having
joined Elitel in January 2005. After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with
Ernst & Young in 1994 he joined Credit Lyonnais Securities in London in 1997. In
1999 Mr Ravaccia joined Pino Venture Partners in Milan.



Senior Management Appointments


The Board is also pleased to announce the strengthening of its finance
department with two senior management appointments.


Mr Antonio Concolino has been promoted to the post of Chief Financial Officer.
Mr Concolino will take over his position from Mr Ravaccia. Antonio Concolino,
age 36, joined Elitel in as Financial Controller in 2002. Earlier this year he
was appointed as Head of Internal Audit and Planning and will take up his role
as Chief Financial Officer on (1 July) 2006. He graduated from University of
Calabria with a degree in Engineering in 1998 and has since worked for Andersen
Consulting (Rome) and then Lombardia.com, an Italian Regional Telecom Operator
which was acquired by Elitel in 2002.


The Board also announces that Nicolo Egidio Abramo Zanchi, age 37, has joined
Elitel as Group Corporate Development Officer. He will have responsibility for
the Company's acquisition and corporate finance activities as well as the
investor relations role previously undertaken by Mr Ravaccia. Mr Zanchi joins
from Via Advisors, Elitel's Italian Financial Advisers. He was previously
employed by Grant Thornton in Milan and Bear Stearnes International in London.
Mr Zanchi graduated in 1996 from Universita Commerciale Luigi Bocconi in Milan
with a degree in Business Administration.


Federico d'Este, Chief Executive Officer of Elitel, commented:

Non-Executive Director. He has helped the Company through its IPO on AIM and the
Board wish to record their appreciation of his invaluable assistance during this

the future development of Elitel in his new Non-Executive capacity."

year. He also assisted the Company on our recent acquisition of Telecontatto."
