Edenville, formerly East Africa-focused Gemstones of Africa, itself borne of the shell of AIM counter TV Commerce, raised the money at 0.5p a share, with Canaccord Adams as broker and ZAI Corporation as nominated adviser. Rollason, also managing director of another AIM-quoted East Africa minerals concern, Obtala Resources, says the company has secured six exclusive exploration licences from the mining-friendly Tanzanian authorities in the potentially mineral-rich but relatively under-developed southern part of the country. Edenville says its initial exploration focus will be on licences at Matiri North and Matiri South, not far from a game park where an Australian company recently established a 35 million-lb uranium reserve. The company boasts an experienced team, with well-versed Tanzanian national Javan Bidogo in charge of exploration, and hopes to start drilling this summer, with first drill results hoped for later this year. Now 0.85p, the shares clearly carry significant risk, but might well repay a bold punt. Posted at 06/11/2007 12:52 by lotusel1se This has been happily more than doubled in price over the last 3 months. I've held a few for several years but it has fallen off my radar. Any known reason for the increases? |
Posted at 26/7/2004 15:12 by dayjob anakin,Hi. I would be the first to confess that i am a small and peripheral punter. Maybe i have the wrong end of the stick, but i was under the impression (given to me by someone who thinks they know whats actually going on - although that could of course just be blind optimism) that the price gyrations were caused by a) an attack on 3dm (some of the same management(?)) and b) to attempt to obtain cheap eden stock for Cawkwell. Very exciting potential here though - i'll ckeck out the MW site. Cheers. |
