13/7/2011 22:10 | Oilbuy, of course consolidation , in theory , makes no difference , but have been involved in enough consolidations in this type of company to know that virtually without exception , the price is just set up to drop back , it may be physcological as I suggested previously , but down they will go . It is a pity as I was expecting good things from a farm out and there proximity to BG's find. | holts
13/7/2011 20:39 | Tried to post to day on DPL III board after 60 secs the posts were rejected no foul language.wonder if their being censored filterd | patboy
13/7/2011 17:33 | Well said JSBach The man is a complete fool to think he can talk to th Pi,s in that way he has only got away with it because he has us over a barrel , I really feel like i,ve been mugged, But to be honest i,m not 100% sure what the hell is going on with this company. Why the big drop in the share price ,yes I know it will make the 1 for 20 cheaper for the company ie 70p each but I dont get how they can do that with the share price i,m sure i,m missing something but to be honset i really dont care any more, these are no more than bottom draw shares now. Might just give them to someone I dont like Mr Rob Shepherd comes to mind LOL GLA P G | paulhgreen
13/7/2011 16:56 | Well, HOLTS, given their arrogance, the badly-judged bundling together of resolutions that led directly to the share price slumping and of course losses to many PIs beacuse of this, they may be right to be jumpy about the result of the vote. And the arrogance continues by Mr Rob Shepherd saying in a communication on another comment board ...'if you don't agree with what the board is doing feel free to sell your shares to someone who does...' An almsot ubelieveably arrogant statement, but then he was a banker with ABN AMRO and we know how that ended. Mr Shepherd if you don't like it if the resolutions are not passed then let me offer (in the spirit of your statement) the following, if you don't like a 'No' vote then feel free to obtain employment elsewhere. There are plenty of highly talented FDs who would fill your shoes at less expense to PIs. And also Mr Shepherd be reminded that PIs own the company and you and the board are their servants. | jsbach123
13/7/2011 16:47 | consolidation makes no difference to the value of your holding its the drop in the share price that makes the difference ,consolidation is not a reason for selling . Good luck Regards OILBUY | oilbuy
13/7/2011 00:55 | pmsl, what a complete shower! Is *ipstick too afraid to post here, lol? At last someone else who can see what is likely to happen here short term? | drambui

12/7/2011 15:52 | From Dominion FD on iii ! Many thanks to those of you who have voted to-date, much appreciated! Would those of you who still plan to kindly do so this week if possible - whilst the actual meeting isn't until 25 July, some brokers may have deadlines for voting by the end of the week, and it'd be a big shame to miss votes that were intended to be given! If any of you have questions as to how to vote, please email sgm@dominionpetroleu Finally, if this could be posted on the other relevant boards, that'd also be much appreciated! Cheers, Rob Shepherd | spikeydt
10/7/2011 02:46 | oillie, BODs (w@nkers in many cases) load up with cheap options, freebie shares and often get paid a fortune to deliver sweet fa except dilution and shareholder pain (such is AIM)? Has that happened here, DYOC? Peeps should to tell them to foxtrot oscar if they believe that to be case!? In my hubmle. | drambui
10/7/2011 01:28 | Looking at the figs above the vote wont be a walk over might be hard to get. thats 20% PIs needed or more and theres 20000 of them.Someone might come in with a killer blow and bag em cheap mybe before the vote. If thats possible ? | patboy
09/7/2011 12:55 | If they dont get the required 66% to pass the resolutions, maybe we will see the corporate buyer back again - last time it was 'zero premium' accrding to the company's recent statement (when the share price was close to 7p). Significant uplift from current price? | mrzippo
09/7/2011 09:48 | Voted no to the consolidation, placing and award of shares to the directors- I know if they lose the vote the company will forfeit £250k but I do not like being raped by a company in the way that has happened here. The fact that they agreed to a £250k non refundable deposit before being sure they could sign the cheque is disgraceful and fundamentally against the duties of a director. | 77monty
08/7/2011 22:13 | ollie147 where did you find that piece of information? I mean about directors owning more shares than PIs Dominion Petroleum has one class of (Ordinary) Shares of US$ 0.00004. Significant shareholders (those with more than 3% of the issued shares) in the company as of 8th April, 2011 are shown below BlueGold Capital Management LLP 179,037,358 11.28% Plainfield Asset Management LLC 172,455,653 10.86% MFC Global Investment Management (US), LLC 71,907,562 4.52% Camulos Capital L.P. 70,060,516 4.41% Capital Research Global Investors 65,545,094 4.12% Carlo Seidel 65,236,647 4.11% Blackrock Inc. 48339,742 3.04% PIs? | jsbach123
08/7/2011 17:23 | Rayrac the directors have more shares than any PIs think how much dilution they have suffered....would you have rather the company gone bust?? | ollie147
08/7/2011 14:27 | ollie147, ruddy cheek, they go to the institutions for their cash and then come begging to pi's to support them in raising acceptance of the offer above above 66.67%! What a way to get pi's on your side. Dilute the heck out of them and then go looking for us, (God knows how, as we are nominee for all our holdings!) to vote for their rotten non support of us. I say us, as we have sold out and good riddance. I just do not see the logic of what this bod's are trying to do, full stop. GL to all who sail. | rayrac
08/7/2011 10:55 | lots of buys going through as sells . Encarter open a crest account . Regards oilbuy ps vote yes ,or you might as well sell your holding now for peanuts | oilbuy
