                           DEBT FREE DIRECT GROUP PLC
                             PRE CLOSE ANNOUNCEMENT

Debt Free Direct Group (DFD), the leading debt advice and solutions company,
today confirms that its interim results announcement for the period ended 31
October 2007 will be made on Tuesday 27 November 2007.  At that time we will
provide analysts and shareholders with renewed guidance on our positive growth
outlook.

DFD has previously announced that it is also planning to provide a strategy
update to investors at that time.  Those plans continue to be focused on
pressing home our advantage as a large scale and low cost solution provider, and
as a potential consolidator in the sector.

We continue to be in dialogue with creditors regarding fee levels and,
crucially, the appropriate access for debtors to the IVA process.  We remain
confident of achieving a satisfactory outcome from these discussions and expect
to update shareholders further at, or before, the time of our interim results
announcement.

There will be an analyst presentation to discuss the interim results at 9.30am
on 27 November 2007 at Financial Dynamics, Holborn Gate, 26 Southampton
Buildings, London WC2A 1PB.
