30/11/2007 11:25 | Profits warning, but positives for the future. Current MC around £500k. In for the bounce... | double6
19/11/2007 17:37 | I guess we will see results out in early December, so probably nothing until then. Unless trading is dire, I would have thought selling at 5p was madness. MJ | mjcrockett
19/11/2007 12:34 | 23500 sold at 5p, any news to perk this up? | gelp
23/9/2007 08:10 | One hopes that they can capitalise on Gordon Brown's new crusade on hospital cleanliness. | outlook123
18/9/2007 09:02 | Yes, a complete new product range to sell to their existing clients must be good news. You would hope this latest deal will also help Dawmed sell its existing equipment in the UK. The new range of sterilisers look quite smart - see pictures of the 200, 300 and 400 series at . MJ | mjcrockett
18/9/2007 08:22 | Another good distribution annoucement today - surely we should see some sales increase from these recent announcements. | gelp
23/8/2007 08:52 | Yes, very nice and with the probability of more deals to come. | mjcrockett
23/8/2007 08:19 | Nice news today ! | gelp
28/6/2007 11:28 | Gelp, I understand that the amount affected by the bad debt did in fact grow to a much larger figure than was initially announced. I think your figure of 500K is about right, so that should be restored in the finals. Whilst it is disappointing that they will not equal last years numbers, it is good to see the bad debt out of the way and the NHS problem beginning to recede. There is a lot of potential here and the market should react very favourably once the potential starts to be realised. MJ | mjcrockett
28/6/2007 08:54 | The 'breach of contract'is blamed for some 500k of change in balance sheet - that is far more than the bad debt that was being chased I wonder what the full final satisfactory settlement is.In any event surely hits the 2nd half accounts which we are are advised may not be above last years. The statement is optimistic. I wonder what the shares will do when a profit is posted. The product range is quite broadly based as far as i can see, exports being chased - I wonder what the target is for exports. I hope the company can now show improved p/lperformance and growth to build on the recovery from the recent lows. | gelp
25/6/2007 12:21 | Yes, good news. Perhaps we will see the interims this week as well. I am not expecting great things from the interims because the period up to the end of March includes a spell when we know that Dawmed were suffering from NHS budget cutbacks. However, the outlook statement should be of interest and there may be comments on progress with sales overseas. MJ | mjcrockett
25/6/2007 11:05 | nice to see the litigation sorted. | gelp
20/6/2007 09:39 | No, but we should have some action soon. Th court case is scheduled for 'end June' and then there will be the interim results due. MJ | mjcrockett
20/6/2007 08:22 | yawn: any news anyone? | gelp
01/5/2007 13:48 | Gelp, I believe that Nick Trigg has been a director of the company for some years and yet this is his first purchase of shares. He must think prospects are good now. MJ | mjcrockett
30/4/2007 18:49 | Director buy of 100000 at 11p is encouraging. That should be picked up in IC etc . | gelp
03/4/2007 20:02 | slight profit taking today, but to be expected given the gains over the past couple of days. I topped up at the bottom but have no intention off letting these out of my mitt. I spoke to the chairman when the deal was announced back in febuary and the impression I got was this would be the year when their new strategy would start to pay off. I don't want to appear to be want to ramp this stock but hopefully there may be a few distribution deals lined up. No solid evidence to support that claim except that when I spoke to the chairman I just got a hunch, probably because he sounded so up beat about the future. It was a hunch I backed up with my own cash and it's still in there. | freestyle
03/4/2007 13:57 | Mallard29 - who exactly was it. I can understand who CEL are [they regularly contact me and I am not impressed with either their 2006 or 2007 stock picks]. However it would be of interest to hear who it was that "suckered" you. PG | petergoddard
03/4/2007 13:53 | Interesting comments by the last three on CEL. At least I know I am not alone in having been suckered, and not by CEL but by someone else, and they phoned me yesterday suggesting how I could lose even more money! I won't bore you with amounts, but I have lost a very high percentage, what is left is laughable. How do these people stay in business? | mallard29
02/4/2007 18:01 | > You didnt by any chance buy from CEL No, sadly the credit for this 50% loss is all my own ;) I liked the idea of a small niche company selling into (what I perceived to be) a market with huge potential. Hoping my error was just timing. | devbod
02/4/2007 17:08 | I was conned by CEL also and and I paid almost 3 times the current share price for Dawmed,Still DSY has not gone bust which is more than can be said for much of the rubbish I was suckered into.I have learned my lesson-I hope! | standish11
02/4/2007 15:43 | DevBod You didnt by any chance buy from CEL, if you did I have a bucket load of shares whcih are now half price to what I paid CEL. | davidsheila1
02/4/2007 12:27 | Sentiment does seem to have changed with this share. It needs to from my POV, its still under half what I bought at ;) | devbod
02/4/2007 10:35 | Price moving up strongly again - very interesting. Vuelands, it would seem that the setback that you are waiting for may not be here for a while yet. I have no idea what is driving the price right now, but I still think the shares are cheap even after today's rise. Dawmed have no debt and have a number of good products - so all of the years of development costs are in for free. They have a turnover of around £5m, which is likely to grow quite quickly. The growth could be potentially very strong if the overseas sales do well and their margins should imrove now that the large machines are out of the picture. The market cap is still only just over £2m. Cheap - IMHO! MJ | mjcrockett
31/3/2007 23:00 | This company is an inigma. Spend money trying to get fees due yet a really good long term prospect. IMHO current price is a little over optemistic but has to be a buy on any setback | vuelands |
