Transaction in own shares - corrective announcement

On Friday, 9 December 2016 the Company announced a transaction in its own shares under RNS Number 5011R. The total number of Ordinary Shares in issue immediately subsequent to this transaction was incorrectly stated to be 33,679,090 instead of 33,678,590 and the total voting rights attached in issue was incorrectly stated to be 30,316,369 instead of 30,315,869.

Transaction in own shares

The Company announces that on 9 December, 2016 it purchased 12,500 Ordinary Shares of no par value each ("Ordinary Shares") at a price per share of 107.5 pence each. The Ordinary Shares purchased will be cancelled by the Company.

The total number of Ordinary Shares in issue is now 33,678,590, of which 3,362,721 Ordinary Shares are held in treasury. Therefore, the number of Ordinary Shares with voting rights attached now in issue is 30,315,869 and this is the figure which should be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure, Guidance and Transparency Rules.
