                            Appointment of Director



Cytomyx Holdings plc (the "Company") announces that Mr Glen Gershon has today
joined its board as a director.



Glen Arthur Gerson, a US citizen aged 51, is currently the general manager of
Cytomyx LLC in Lexington, Massachusetts. Prior to joining the Company, Mr
Gershon worked with Ardais Corporation for four years as the Director of Quality
and then became Vice President of Biological Operations. Mr Gershon has more
than 20 years experience in the life science industry. He has a BS from Eckerd
College and an MS in Biological Sciences from Illinois State University.
