|solarno lopez: But no upward movement in the share price !!|
|jonc: tara is "in at the start" and will be getting out while ramping the share price up as he passes his holding to sucker PIs.
That is your MO isn't it tara.|
|tara7: Market Cap just 600k, since they laid out 200k at the half way stage , and said costs would be futher cut in the 2nd half, also players have done very well. To me cash at the full year could be £200,000 at the half way, plus £300 from ICON, plus a trading profit of say £100,000. IE cash could = todays share price [with more due.]|
|tara7: News today was not the best , however only 250k down, with assets still way above share price. ALso 100k just come in.|
|tara7: Not sure about that, [more the company on the share price rise]|
|fairdeal2008: Trade receivables and cash are £2.4mn approx, less trrade payables/tax of £700k, leaves net current assets of £1.7million. This is six pence per share yet current share price only 2.25p.
So forgetting the wider business, just the short term assets alone (really cash and soon to be received cash) justify a near trebling in the market cap.
I am going to buy a few of these. Another cracker possibly Tara. Have I missed something in my analysis...?|
|tara7: I see from an RNS in the spring, company put out the standard we know of no reason for the share price movement. SO, we may see another one today.|
|dunluce: Not looked in here for a while - delighted to see upward share price movement. Huge trades going through yesterday - over 15 million shares being traded ( from my calculations ,based on ADVFN mkt cap figure, that is @half the share capital of the company). Anyone any thoughts on what is happening? I know this is a very quiet BB but is anyone else watching?|
|aleman: Just reiterating a few items from results:
Turnover £72.9m from £48.5m.
Operating profits from continuing operations (excluding goodwill) of £2.2m.
All four divisions operating profitably.
£5m cash generated from operations and £2m debt repaid.
Greatly improved performance from North America. The improvement would have been
more visible but for the weakness in the US dollar.
Commenting on the results John Webber, Chairman, stated:
'Overall sentiment in our chosen markets is now improving, and this coupled with
the Group's lowered overhead base gives us renewed cause for optimism. We
believe we are well positioned to deliver improved results this year and going
2004 has begun particularly well in the Events Division which, without ARB, has
had its best start since becoming part of the Group three years ago. The Talent
Management, Marketing and Television divisions have all performed in line with
expectation in the first two months.
In my opinion, a company in profit and set to increase last time's £72.9m turnover and £5m operational cashflow should be worth a lot more than £17m. Share price should be 150 - 200p. I must admit I do not know any broker forecast. Can anybody help out?|
|ok,yah: CSS seem to be cautiously confident in this statement but are aware of the disappointments of past results and how this has clobbered the share price. Turnover is massively up so if this can be converted into profits this year a share price of around £2.00 is realistic which is still at discount to flotation price.|
