Katie, when you say VGM are in TW's gold fund top ten, is that by number held, performance last year or prospect for this year ?

I'm holding CDG, bought VGM just before update earlier this month and then sold at small loss after, whether that was a good move to sell only time will tell I guess

Yeh...CDG is their total wildcard (which is what TW called it), and they do continue to buy cdg shares....so they haven't sold any, they have just bought more of others, hence the % of their fund which is CDG is less.

One thing we can all be sure of is that the board dont give much away, they are professional in that regard. I expected the share price to rise from the start of the new years trading. It doesn't take a genius to realise that it should be higher than its current price. I suspect it will start to rise next week, hopefully monday..wishful thinking, i know, but i have a feeling it is about to jump next week.

Still waiting to hear who the buyer was/is.
Also think the trading and Market maker activity with this share has been odd to say the least recently. Excited about the possibilities here.

My point is that if there's no downside then why aren't all companies using SETS?

There is no downside it cant be manipulated by market makers like RENA .Check out NVTA that stock also a miner languished and was depressed by market maker manipulation the chief exec there got rid of the lot of them and transfered the stock to SETS over night and now look at the share price .

What's the downside to SETS? shouldn't everyone be using it?

The only way to get rid of RENA is to transfer to sets Im sure Conroy would enjoy a better share price if they did the move .

Yep and the rest of the mm's on the ask side are at 7.5 or over. Comeon clear off RENA.

They can only sell so much stock though before having to jump on the bid to settle. That's what caused the rise the day before yesterday. RENA moving over and normal supply demand taking over.

Will we see the necessary buying pressure though? I'd of hoped so given the proximity to the end of January, but looks like RENA is having the effect I think it wants (putting off people buying, holding the share down).

yorgi

When the diamond part of Conroy Diamond & Gold was spun off into Karelian Diamonds, CDG shareholders received shares in Karelian. Hence a significant number of CDG shareholders also hold KDR. That's why KDR is of interest to some folks on this board.

Nothing wrong with provoking some thought Hemehem and also as you say keep the board awake and helps put CDG on some new potential investors radar.

We should not have long to wait !
