pt:
any views on packaging share.... cvl

I just did a tiny trade to test the water
my buy got put in the sell column ;-)

why did I dip my toe?
well, I asked myself, why did the first buyer embrace a 0.25 - 1.25 spread
he must be confident of getting his money back (12500 quid)?

Bubblehead

Im not sure that I would admit that I held shares in a company that I was a Director of the Company responsible for their PR. That sounds like a huge conflict of interest to me and Im 100% sure the FSA would take a keen interest in such a case. You would clearly be privy to information that was not in the public domain and that could definetly be price sensitive which makes you an "Insider" and therefore prohibitted from dealing in CVL shares.

The only Raw PR I can find is www.rawpr.com which appears to be Australian. Where can I find a website for Raw PR Please Bubblehead ??

Obviously if your company were any good they would have a good web presence to show their credentials and to attract new business.

Move on to what! i know things seem to be a bit thin on the penny share front.
Its a pitty about CVL it could go under or it could take a long long time to come good again,

EcoStock-
Thats more like it. its nice to read somthing positive about CVL for a change.
If they can turn 10M loss into profit then thats brilliant!
I also have noticed how quickly there fruit juice drinks are disappearing from my Sainsburys store also, but 10M is rather a lot of fruit juice...

Regards dobo.

Is this the begining of the old slippery slope for CVL then? or can it turn the out-laying loss around?
Their fruit juce drinks are delicious but so are all the others!
Maybe some time then....

Is there any actual hard information anywhere that can be used to value the company?

Conival (AIM: CVL) announces that it has secured listings in 180 Tesco stores
from 16 October for its new superfruit juice drink, the Acai and Mango juice, in
1ltr packs.

180 stores, that's nice, but how much does CVL get per unit sold? Until we're given basic financial information like this, CVL is a pure gamble on hope that the drinks will catch on in sufficient volume to justify the company's market cap and more.

Can anyone comment?

Latest news (22/9) on Tesco and their new Acai drink is v. positive; apparently, Acai is 'the next big thing' in heath foods.

Full credit to them for their marketing, which is streets ahead of the rival Sirco drink from Provexis (PXS), despite Sirco having patented science behind their product. CVL looks like better short term punt until PXS update the market on their licensing deal.

Brave or stupid lol!! I understand that the pxs/sirco factor may have played a part however this company is not a one trick pony see (Portfolio Products) if it decides to move..!! It was not to far back that js purchased a bundle at 4.3 odd. Dobo what makes you think that these will not recover..

If there has been a leak theses are the most likely chain of events

1 Company to issue extra shares to raise equity for rollout of new products

2 SparkyBrand to get shove from Sainsburys

3 Rerating of cvl due to supermarkets launching own products with added omega3 in

4 A major holder selling stock (unlikely only 3.3 mil traded most of that private investors)

Remember this companies stated aim is to nuture and devolep brands and they have Andrew Regan lurking in the background he didnt do a bad job with LLoyd Grossmans sauces and a strong cheif exec in js .... Providing we dont end up with a zillion shares i wouldn't write this one off. Although i would not advise anyone to buy this share until news confirms what is going on.

Any views welcome...
