CE Mark Approval for revisions to Intrepide drug eluting stent (DES)

ClearStream Technologies Group plc ("ClearStream" or "the Company") is pleased to announce that it has received CE Mark approval for changes made to transfer the coating process of the Intrepide to its facility in Enniscorthy and to improve retention of the Intrepide on its delivery catheter.

The Company also plans to hold a steering committee meeting shortly to review 12 month ICLARITY registry data, which is expected to confirm the safety and efficacy of the device.

Andy Jones, CEO of ClearStream, commented:

"We are delighted to have reached this juncture and this approval will enable us to deliver initial restocking orders before our year end with further orders slated for the next financial year.

"Clinical data for Intrepide continues to show promise and we believe it can be targeted towards patients intolerant or non-compliant with the required dual anti-platelet therapy post-DES implantation who comprise an important niche within this market".
