RNS Number:3272E Chloride Group PLC 24 September 2007 24 September 2007 Chloride Group PLC Trading Statement Prior to entering its close period before publication of the results for the six months ended 30 September 2007, the Board of Chloride Group PLC ("Chloride" or " the Company") provides the following update: The Board is pleased with performance in the first half with sales and orders ahead of management expectations and significantly ahead of last year. The sustained momentum in data centres and IT services, and in the energy, and oil and gas sectors continues to drive organic sales growth. Order levels have been strong throughout the period, with order intake well ahead of sales. As a result the order book has again increased, with significant new orders from blue chip customers in India, Germany, the UK and the Middle East. Regarding the recently acquired businesses: Masterpower is providing the platform for expanding our industrial systems sales in the UK; Ascor, Singapore, has quickly strengthened our presence in SE Asia and Cener is now integrated with Chloride Spain, to form a single business serving the dynamic Spanish market. The Company will be announcing its interim results on 29 October 2007. Commenting on the trading update, Chief Executive Keith Hodgkinson said: "Our strategy to accelerate growth while investing in the breadth and quality of our solutions capabilities has again resulted in improved performance.
