                               TRADING STATEMENT

Chelford Group plc ("Chelford" or the "Group"), the IT solutions group today
provides an update on its trading performance for the year to 31 December 2006.

During the closing months of 2006, certain contracts and associated services
were signed later in the year than expected and some contract decisions,
including significant software licences, will not now be made until 2007.
Nevertheless, in the second half year the Group traded more profitably than in
the first half year and continued to generate cash. As a result of these new
contract delays, together with the cost over-run on a fixed-price contract in
the SAP Division reported at the half year end, profits for 2006 will be below
market expectations and below the level for 2005.
