02/9/2009 08:52 | Steg, I have done some back of the envelope calculations in my post 99, based on Medquists first half results. Looks to me Cbay will record a post tax profit of £21m from MedQ contribution..about 13.5p in eps.If we assume CBays operations contribute a modest 1.5p,then the stock appears to be trading on a PE of 4.3 at 65p! | nurdin
01/9/2009 13:38 | Fair value is a long way off yet but I see your point, we cant get too greedy. Seems to be big trades going through all the time, which can only lead to me thinking a company, hedge fund is building a stake. Its certainly not small time investors..... 50k at 67p suggests this is heading past 70p very soon.... | 237gmoney
01/9/2009 13:18 | Hmmm might get there quicker than i thought! I need to start working out what fair value is here, both in terms of the price difference and the actual business itself.... | stegrego
01/9/2009 12:57 | Im still here, just enjoying the steady rise.. Ta for this one Nurdin, we are indeed quits! Just hope i manage to actually bank a decent profit at some point, as stuff has a nasty habit of getting away from me :). Still well undervalued here so not thinking about it yet - maybe at a quid ;) (i hope!) | stegrego
01/9/2009 09:49 | Well the company is still undervalued at the current Mkt cap based on the cash and investment in MEDQ. still probably 50% below what it should be but at what discount should this share price trade at with its investment in MEDQ? Hopefully this gets a mention in the press soon so we get more interest in it. | 237gmoney
01/9/2009 09:10 | 25k buy did it...50k on friday....at this rate we should be at 100p in no time lol | nurdin
01/9/2009 08:55 | And it seems like only me and you here to enjoy the ride! Not that Im complaining but am surprised that since I bought in at 45p hardly anyone else seems interested....now were going past 60p seems we should hit 70-80p pretty soon were we might hold for a bit seeing as it was there for a year before but if MEDQ continues to rise then we should surpass that threshold as well. | 237gmoney
01/9/2009 08:32 | The rise continues :o) | nurdin
28/8/2009 16:24 | at 60p as well. thats £30k. Unlikely to be a PI? is someone stake building? thats two 40k trades and 2 50k trades that have gone through this week..... If it carries on like this we could be at 70p next week yet still no mention of it anywhere.... | 237gmoney
28/8/2009 16:12 | 50k buy !! | nurdin
28/8/2009 16:07 | Another late tick up in the price yet no reported trades all day??? Whats the NMS on this one? Usually even a 500 NMS has a 2 hr delayed trade notification limit, but this has nothing.... still as long as its going up Im not complaining. thats +1.5p the last three trading days now.... | 237gmoney
28/8/2009 08:44 | Is now 60p to buy. Making steady progess and still off the radar of many. Can you imagine if this was mentioned in the British press....MEDQ has seen a bit of profit taking last few days but still $8.50 a share, seems the news of the recent contract win could not even lift the price. Still not long til the 2nd quarter results at CBAY so we should be in for a treat there. | 237gmoney
28/8/2009 08:02 | Marked up pre-open..suspect there is a decent buy in the background | nurdin
26/8/2009 20:29 | Think they are keeping the value of the contract hidden from Obama :o) It maybe only 8 hospitals but if each hospital caters for 100,000 patient a year then that puts a somewhat different complexion on the deal doesnt it? | nurdin
26/8/2009 16:46 | Nice find. Only 8 hospitals though. No mention of how much the contract is worth so my guess is not that big. Still a wins a win. boads well for other contracts in the pipeline. Maybe blue again here tomorrow ;o) | 237gmoney
26/8/2009 16:36 | MedQuist wins contract from Wellmont Health System..RNS today: | nurdin
26/8/2009 15:47 | And another 7k buy there gone through....MEDQ is up today as well, touched $9.2 a share earlier again. But I guess there will be no major share price action until CBAY's Q2 results are issued. | 237gmoney
26/8/2009 14:46 | Nice 10k buy there..probably responsible for the tick up today.... | nurdin
26/8/2009 12:51 | cbay seems to be employing loads of workers at a fast pace...an old article shows how quickly this company plans to grow in the next 12 months. sorry if its been posted here before. | 237gmoney
26/8/2009 12:44 | eh??? what do you mean ian? no reason to be suspended...can you explain any more? | 237gmoney
26/8/2009 12:07 | does anyone know why the stock is suspened ? | iantrader2
26/8/2009 10:36 | I like this statement from the letter: ''... MedQuist is a wonderful company that is performing very well. Per the Company's recent June 30, 2009 Form 10-Q, we have $54 million of cash, not a nickel of debt and valuable federal tax loss carry forwards that were in excess of $100 million at year end. Despite this, MedQuist remains a severely undervalued company. At current trading prices, MedQuist has an equity market capitalization of roughly $300 million and trades at an enterprise valuation of approximately 4.3x the annualized June 2009 quarter's EBITDA of $15 million. Among the highest priorities of the Board should be achieving deserved recognition for the latent value that exists in the MedQuist shares, such that the value is shared by all shareholders alike...'' | nurdin
26/8/2009 10:29 | Apologies. Yes 69.5%. | 237gmoney
26/8/2009 10:15 | Cbay own 69.5% of MedQ :o) | nurdin |
