options were converted to ordinary shares as opposed to 18,084,141 options as previously announced.

    Exercise of Options and Issue of Shares

    Cape Lambert Iron Ore Limited ("the Company") (ASX: CFE, AIM: CLIO) issued and allotted on the 20 October 2008 18,084,104Ordinary Shares
following the exercise of 18,084,104 ASX listed options of A$0.277 each.

    Application to the London Stock Exchange has been made for these new Ordinary Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM ("Admission"). It
is expected that Admission will become effective on 27 October 2008.

    The new ordinary shares will rank pari passu with the existing ordinary shares of the Company.

    Following the issue of these shares the Company has 506,295,938fully paid ordinary shares in issue.
