Posted at 22/3/2007 13:30 by boris12 I have been in touch with someone at the BRF company they tell me that they are on target for what was promised in last results. I think this means that there will definately be an announcement before end of this month |
Posted at 19/3/2007 14:19 by the_professor I wonder if the new company will be in the same mobility products field? Some very profitable non-listed mobility companies might be tempted to look at BRF as an excellent way to get on to the stock exchange |
Posted at 12/3/2007 18:41 by the_professor Did these people hold any shares in BRF before?"Pursuant to section 198 of the Companies Act 1985 on 9 March 2007 the Company received notification that Smith & Williamson Holdings Limited held an interest in 4,700,000 shares representing approximately 9.82 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital. The issued share capital of the Company is 47,850,020 ordinary shares of 5p each.* |
Posted at 09/11/2006 10:13 by tiltonboy ii,I've spoken to him a couple of times, but don't know him. No idea why the ENTH deal was done first, other than that it was being lined up before BRF came around. tiltonboy |
Posted at 10/10/2006 09:10 by tiltonboy Prof,BRF is a shell company with some cash. Marcus Yeomans has come on board with the brief to make an acquisition which will add value to shareholders. In essence you are backing the ability of MY and his team to identify and execute this brief. There are obviously people around that believe this can be accomplished and are showing their hand. tiltonboy |
Posted at 23/3/2006 14:37 by tiltonboy Ah, but I know what I'm talking about, dell is just a ramping rabbit jumping from stock to stock.I've held these for years and got it wrong, but it's now a new story and I'm happy to back it. When you make 6X on ARX, 7X on FLX, 20X on Oxygen etc etc, you can afford a few losers like World Sports, BRF; they come in handy as tax losses. These penny shares are just a bit of fun, but as HML have shown in the last couple of weeks, they can also be profitable. Be lucky. tiltonboy |
Posted at 20/3/2006 11:39 by tiltonboy sw,You've lost me completely now! BRF have 47.8m shares in issue, which gives a market cap of £600K. tiltonboy |
Posted at 01/4/2005 12:00 by chaweewan le turkSo apart from the Shiloh buy - and I do not see how that infuences BRF positively - what else has moved this dreary company mildly upwards? Everyone seems to have gone into hibernation. I am sure this is another 'Hoodless wonder' I should have sold as a 'capital loss' |
Posted at 07/11/2004 21:13 by guru11 dell314 - you've crop up here as well. I was just taking a lot at BRF.However I do agree with the dilution. The Management has bought shares on the 5th Nov. RNS, but only ploughed £10k into it, which is not too much of a commitment. Still it is 1/3rd of one per cent, which shows £30k would buy 1%. Haven't looked at the results as yet, but the good news is they appear to be in profit. Worth buying? - I haven't had time to judge. |
Posted at 15/9/2004 13:16 by tiltonboy The new FD appointment looks a good one. He appears to have a proven track record in retailing, and looks to have the requisite qualifications to move BRF forward.I've added a few more today at 6.8p, and hope, now that the FD situation has been resolved, that we can start a push northwards. tiltonboy |
