                     Placing Results - #15.8 million raised



Brammer plc ("Brammer" or the "Company") announces that it has raised #15.8
million before commissions and expenses by the placing by Dresdner Kleinwort
Limited of 4,795,000 new ordinary shares of 20 pence each at 330 pence per share
(the "Placing Shares") with institutional investors (the "Placing") representing
in aggregate approximately 9.9 per cent. of the issued share capital of Brammer.



Ian Fraser and Paul Thwaite, Directors of the Company, have subscribed for
30,000 shares each at 330 pence per share.



The Placing Shares will, when issued, rank pari passu in all respects with the
existing issued shares of Brammer.



The Placing is conditional, inter alia, on admission of the Placing Shares to
the Official List maintained by the Financial Services Authority and to trading
on the London Stock Exchange plc's market for listed securities.
