28/12/2011 19:35 | Sir Rational because you think so! You know no better than I, except you want it to go into administration, although there is no reason in the public domain that suggests why that should happen. You give no reason either! The company does not say it is going into administration, in fact it appears it is fighting this from happening. | hyper al
28/12/2011 19:30 | Of course it's going into administration | sir rational
28/12/2011 19:28 | So have I. | simonhatter37
28/12/2011 19:26 | I've seen it all before! | hyper al
28/12/2011 19:21 | Sir Rational RNS states "Based on the level of indicative offers received, it is most unlikely that any value will be attributable to the ordinary shares. " "it is unlikely that any value will be attributable to the ordinary shares. " is NOT the same as saying "as administration very close now" Do you agree that the shares could drop to a nominal value in relation to the share price at the time of the release of that RNS, but not go into administration? What does the share price have to do with going into administration? The company is trading! and the banks are obviously OK with it trading, so negative comments are without foundation. | hyper al
28/12/2011 19:10 | Not when the Board of Directors have issued you a RNS telling you that in all probability the shares are worthless. | sir rational
28/12/2011 18:53 | simonhatter37 Explain what your comment "as administration very close now" is based on? can you make a comment like that without substance to support it? Blacks are not suspended from the LSE, why is that the case?, it suggests that comments like "as administration very close now" are unfounded, and are such comments not illegal? | hyper al
28/12/2011 18:38 | Today has been a classic mug market maker mark up. Steer well clear as administration very close now. | simonhatter37
28/12/2011 18:23 | A lot of competitors want Blacks out, and it appears some of the posters on this thread as well, the fact is Blacks may survive, if they do the current share price is a real bargain, maybe some are playing that game as well, looking for cheap stock! | hyper al
28/12/2011 18:19 | and who has said anything about delisting? Why should they delist, the company says in the latest RNS "it is most unlikely that any value will be attributable to the ordinary shares. " It does not say they will delist. The shares would be suspended if the shares were to have null value or if the company thought that would happen, but the shares are still trading (sellers and buyers), the company obviously thinks there is a chance that the shares will have some value, but is just covering the situation. I think it's a war of words. | hyper al
28/12/2011 18:13 | supercity - provided they are declared nil value that's what should happen...eventually. However, that can all take many, many months, during which time it ties up trading margin and may incur daily borrow fees. Therefore shorters may prefer to close before they delist. | typo56
28/12/2011 18:06 | supercity - sorry no. the spread betting firms use a different system. | targatarga
28/12/2011 17:26 | surely when these are suspended and delisted anyone short gets closed at 0p??? | supercity
28/12/2011 13:26 | Typo56, Well I look forward to further rises then, when you and your mates close!!!! Lol :-)) | strutt12
28/12/2011 12:58 | Well I still think Blacks will keep going and stay a listed company, but only with core Blacks stores remaining along with the online business. | hyper al
28/12/2011 12:56 | Pretty obvious this is short closing that has caused the spike here, do you really believe that there is only £80 of shares on loan? Get real | jdburton
28/12/2011 12:47 | If Data Explorers have the number of shares on loan for BSLA as just 8,000 it just goes to show how inaccurate it is and/or how meaningless it is as an indication of active short positions. I personally know a number of short well in excess of that, including my own! | typo56
28/12/2011 12:32 | Data explorers, where do you get your figure from?? | strutt12
28/12/2011 12:15 | strutt12, where do you get that figure of 8,000 share on loan from? I can assure you, there's a lot more than that still short! | typo56
28/12/2011 11:19 | there must be some hungover people out there...why on earth are people buying a share that is about to be delisted/suspended?? | supercity
28/12/2011 10:41 | Bounce maybe due to some shorts covering? | clocktower
28/12/2011 00:02 | LOL SHOULD BE SUSPENSION AND GOODNIGHT MIDNIGHT SOON. | dugganjoe |
