    Update on Heads of Terms

    Further to the announcement on 13 May 2008, AxisMobile PLC (AIM: AXIS), the consumer mobile email specialist, announces that, as a
consequence of on-going negotiations with the Buyer (as defined in the 13 May 2008 announcement), and alternative options available to the
Company, AxisMobile has elected not to proceed with the transaction outlined in the non-binding heads of terms ("HoT") agreement it had
signed with a privately held US based software company.  

    AxisMobile is in on-going discussions with other potential buyers and will update the market in due course.

of Western European consumer mobile email users will increase from 12.3 million in 2005 to 62.7 million by 2008. During the same period,
revenues from consumer mobile mail will grow from EUR120 million per year to EUR1.15 billion per year in Western Europe alone. In the US,
Forrester estimates that the number of consumer mobile email users will increase from 12.1 million in 2005 to 38 million in 2008 and that
revenues will soar from $13 million per year in 2005 to $406 million in 2008.
