Appointment of COO


AxisMobile PLC (AIM: AXIS), the consumer mobile email specialist, announces that
Ms Pazi Boxer has joined the Company as Chief Operating Officer with immediate
effect.

Pazi Boxer, aged 38, held the position of Vice President Operations,
Intelligence Solutions Division at NICE Systems (NASDAQ: NICE), provider of
advanced solutions that enable organizations to extract Insight from
Interactions to drive performance, from April 2006. Before this Ms Boxer spent
five years at COMVERSE (NASDAQ: CMVT), the provider of software and systems that
enable network-based multimedia enhanced communication and billing services,
latterly as a Senior Director and COO.

Ms Boxer has a B.A. in Computer Science from Ben-Gurion University, a Masters in
Computer Science from Tel-Aviv University and also an EMBA from Tel-Aviv
University.

Pazi Boxer will report to Sharon David, CEO of AxisMobile, but will not be a
member of the Board of Directors.

Commenting on the appointment of Pazi Boxer, CEO Sharon David said: "I would

management and operational experience in the telecom field. She brings with her
a proven ability to effectively manage multiple business units and make

  million by 2008. During the same period, revenues from consumer mobile mail 
  will grow from Euro120 million per year to Euro1.15 billion per year in Western 
  Europe alone. In the US, Forrester estimates that the number of consumer 
  mobile email users will increase from 12.1 million in 2005 to 38 million in
  2008 and that revenues will soar from $13 million per year in 2005 to $406
  million in 2008.
