RNS Number:1720Q ASBISc Enterprises PLC 26 January 2007 Embargoed for 7.00am, 26 January 2007 Asbisc Enterprises Plc Period-End Trading Update Asbisc Enterprises Plc ("Asbisc" or the "Company"), a leading distributor of computer components in high growth emerging markets in Central and Eastern Europe and the Former Soviet Union, announces a period-end update on trading for the year to 31 December 2006. Asbisc has completed a successful year of trading and expects revenues for the year to 31 December 2006 to have reached a record level in excess of US$1 billion. As a result, profits for the year are expected to be slightly ahead of market expectations. The growth in revenues over the prior year was underpinned by the Company's continued strong relationships with its supplier base including industry leading manufacturers such as Intel, AMD, Hitachi, Seagate, Samsung, and the addition of new suppliers across its key geographic markets. In addition, the Company has seen encouraging growth in the percentage of Group sales achieved from its two higher margin, own brand products lines, Prestigio (flat panel displays and LCD technologies) and Canyon (consumer electronic peripherals and accessories).
