Upgraded to ISO 9001:2008 Certification of Registration Announcement
Armor Designs Inc., (AIM: ADID, ADIS), the knowledge-based designer and manufacturer of composite armour products, is pleased to announce that it has successfully completed ISO Certification of Registration audits on June 13, 1010, resulting in recertification by the review board on March 14, 2011, of their ISO 9001:2000 status, previously announced on January 16, 2009, to new internationally recognized benchmark for quality management standard of ISO 9001:2008.
The Arizona-based company achieved the 9001:200 ISO Certification of Registration status within six months of its initial certification. Armor Designs' scope of recertification included Manufacture of Composite Armor and Design and Development of Composite Armor.
Ruth Covey, ADI's Director of Operations, in charge of quality management, commented "We believe ISO 9001:2008 recertifications of manufacturing, design, and development of composite armor are significant for future national and international business opportunities and demonstrates the company's strong quality management commitment."
