25/10/2007 08:24 | all the right moves..eh.. RNS Number:3361G Argentvive PLC 25 October 2007 ARGENTVIVE PLC AUCTIONASSIST SIGNS 3 YEAR AGREEMENT WITH AMAZON ArgentVive plc (LSE:ARGV) is today delighted to announce that AuctionAssist - the multi channel market maker - has signed a 3 year agreement with Amazon(LSE: AZZ) to join its "Merchant @" programme. The Amazon "Merchant @" programme is by invitation only to select retailers and AuctionAssist users now have the capacity to fully-exploit Amazon to sell their goods to a potential customer base of over 70 million active accounts worldwide. "Merchant @" status provides additional functionality not available under a standard listing, which maximises customer sales and includes an Amazon-branded store front and the ability to sell a significantly wider range of goods than standard retailers. AuctionAssist, a wholly owned subsidiary of ArgentVive plc, has already quickly established itself as one of eBay's largest sellers of electrical items and is now seen as a key online merchant. Amazon has seen exceptional growth in its sale of electrical items and this new deal will enable AuctionAssist to increase sales with current relationships, as well as allowing the company to become an Amazon sales facilitator, offering the service of a Merchant @ Amazon shop to third parties who would not otherwise have the ability to sell on Amazon. Commenting on the agreement, Kevin Fleming Group Finance Director of ArgentVive plc: "ArgentVive is delighted that AuctionAssist has achieved Merchant @ status as a trusted retailer for the Amazon platform. It is a clear recognition of the company's ability to deliver exceptional service despite extremely competitive pricing. We believe that the Amazon sales channel represents an excellent opportunity for the company to drive sales to a new customer base." Sieng Van Tran, CEO of AuctionAssist Limited, commented: "Amazon is a highly respected sales channel that has seen significant growth in its consumer electrics category. Our leading-edge white glove fulfillment service fits well with the customer service expectations of Amazon's customer base. We look forward to providing Amazon users with products at exceptional prices and fulfillment which fits in perfectly with Amazon's three pillars of innovation price, convenience, and selection." saffy.. | safman

21/10/2007 20:40 | With the recent interest over the last week we should see the share price tick up nicely but if there is more good news released then we could see a nice jump back up to the 60p level ( or 6 pence before the consolidation ). Still in this one for the long term as I'm sure Mr Denton has got a lot more planned for this in the coming year or so... | jammy02

21/10/2007 12:52 | Hi Peter.. Mobile bookshop search launched 16.10.07 Graeme Neill The company behind retail chain Samedaybooks has launched a new service to help consumers locate bookshops on their mobile phones. The BookRabbit service can be used by any internet accessible mobile phone and uses Google Maps to give the location of bookshops. Bookshops are also able to upload information about their inventories to the service, so consumers can check if a specific book is in stock. Kieron Smith, m.d. of Retail8, the consumer wing of ArgentVive, said BookRabbit would provide a greater depth of information than directory enquiry services such as Yell or 118118. "We have the details of 1,700 bookshops," he said. "We're also adding bookshop reviews, and event details to BookRabbit. Soon we're sure it will be a key reference site in every book lover's pocket," he said. Smith said the company plans to relaunch the Samedaybooks website along with introducing a same day delivery service within the M25 within the next month. Samedaybooks was taken over by entrepreneur Charles Denton in June. The company has since changed its name to ArgentVive. Kevin Fleming, finance director of ArgentVive, commented: "ArgentVive's aim is to provide innovative B2B and B2C solutions, such as BookRabbitTM. We will have further announcements in due course as we progress our ambitious growth plans." he ain't putting in 750K of his own cash for the short term .. saffy.. | safman

16/10/2007 08:58 | Looks like the plans and future of the company are starting to be laid out, and all seems to be looking good. I dont think this new technology service is going to set the world alight but is a good sign of the way they want to progress. It has the potential to grow in to something a lot bigger which is something that could become very interesting further down the road. With talks of additional take overs this is def worth watching over the coming weeks and months. | jammy02
