30/10/2012 16:54 | What do they want?... Blood? It is an excellent Q3 report. So refreshing on AIM to get a company that performs to target, especially a miner. The company is presumably confident of reaching at least 135 koz fy, which requires a further 6.5% uplift in production rate for Q4. Given the lower strip ratio and no days lost to maintenance it certainly looks achievable - just adding an extra 5 days' production for the lost maintenance time would give the uplift required at the Q3 daily average rate which, with higher grades, should be exceeded. To be fair to the market, the report came mid-afternoon and there was no price reaction after its issue, so we should get that tomorrow. If as a result it has so far gone largely unnoticed and also doesn't turn up in the 7am issues tomorrow, early birds may get a good top-up opp! | boadicea
30/10/2012 16:15 | No logic at all Ifc4ever.......but isn't that so often the case in the markets. | yorgi
30/10/2012 16:12 | production on target costs on target exploration upside. and the price goes down. huh?? | lfc4ever
30/10/2012 14:11 | Brokers today praised Archipelago Resources (LON:AR.) today afer the Indonesia-based gold miner revealed production had hit record levels in its last three months. | lucky_punter
30/10/2012 14:09 | Archipelago Resources (LON:AR.) is set for a very strong end to the year after gold production in its latest quarter set a new record. "Relative to H1 2012, cash costs are trending down as grades increase, stripping ratios decrease and output continues to ramp up," it said, | lucky_punter
22/10/2012 13:53 | phoenix1234 - Fair comment there on Archipelago. Meeting targets, increasing output, falling cost, still expanding resource and extending mine life. I note the link to SHG seems to have been (wisely?) pulled. Chaarat is in an area (Kyrgyzstan) into which I will not venture. | boadicea
22/10/2012 11:32 | Are we getting some recognition at last? Market has been a bit slow to recognise consistency and value here, imho. | boadicea
22/10/2012 10:34 | volume is our friend. SOoner or later this wil fly | silverfern
22/10/2012 10:21 | next pause at 70p? | lfc4ever
15/10/2012 09:50 | rather muted response to very good news. | lfc4ever
15/10/2012 08:49 | Did you see this:including 1m at 152g/t Au at 208m. There seems to be good amounts all over.I guess further drilling wil make the case one way or other | silverfern
15/10/2012 08:20 | Yes - Seriously encouraging with a number of intersections of more than 100g.metres. The depth is typically around the 150m mark leading, I assume, to a rather high strip ratio or will they go underground? | boadicea
15/10/2012 07:14 | That's a lot of gold! | silverfern
12/10/2012 07:29 | lfc4ever - we just thought we'd let you have that moment as we've all had it here. AR. remains a large holding for me. PS. I find it hard to type your name - can you change it please to MUFC4Ever | silverfern
11/10/2012 23:57 | contrarian - Ditto. | boadicea
11/10/2012 19:46 | lfc4ever, you are not talking to yourself. Yes sentiment towards gold is very bullish. Gold miners have under-performed the commodity and that is only just correcting itself, in selective stocks. I'll be holding AR. for the long-term but won't be posting very often. I am looking forward to multiple returns on my investment in the years to come. -------------------- For those of you that missed it, from last week. Archipelago Resources (LON:AR.) is also on the cusp of outperformance and the next 3-6 months are expected to be transformational as management targets delivery of a material resource upgrade while demonstrating a track record for delivering operationally, argues Liberum. | contrarian2investor
11/10/2012 19:29 | i do feel as though i am just talking to myself here, but the 61 on the bid at the finish is quite nice. | lfc4ever
08/10/2012 08:05 | read several articles recently talking about the effect of continued economic and dollar weakness and more QE on gold price. Seems to be a growing consensus that he only way is up. great times for AR.!! | lfc4ever
04/10/2012 09:01 | buys coming in today. could test the recent high. | lfc4ever
