Moray Council 
 
Agreement Represents a Further New Territory Win and Adds a New Branch 
 
NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - April 7, 2010) - Allied Healthcare International 
Inc. (NASDAQ: AHCI) (AIM: AHI) ("Allied"), a leading provider of flexible 
healthcare staffing services in the United Kingdom, has been awarded a new 
three-year contract by The Moray Council in Scotland. 
 
Under the contract, Allied has the opportunity to deliver up to one thousand one 
hundred and seventy one(1) hours of home care services a week (60,892(1) hours a 
year), within Moray, a region in the North-East of Scotland with a population of 
87,000. As a result of this award, which commenced on April 1, 2010, Allied has 
opened a new branch in Elgin, the administrative capital of Moray. 
 
Sandy Young, Chief Executive Officer of Allied, commented, "We are delighted to 
win this significant new contract with The Moray Council, where we have 
previously not had a presence. This represents the third new branch opening in 
the last three years in Scotland, all as a result of organic growth." 
 
(1) Hours opportunity is based on the existing care provision under the 
jurisdiction of the contract (as laid out by the tender specification) and may
